Hodo
“Hodo is an exercise in restraint. It is centred around one riff we recorded from Amon’s modular synth, and a really big kickdrum. We tried to use as little further ornamentation as we could, to focus all attention on the core elements. A modular riff, a very dirty kickdrum, some Latin-inspired triplet percussion, and some chords to set the mood in the intro. The title comes from “Jodorowsky’s Dune”, an incredibly inspiring documentary every artist should watch once or more.”- Thys
